It Once Was Said. And It Made Me Turn Fire Red
It once was said,
You expect too much out of people,
Loneliness they not understand,
Standing in judgement afar.
They try to give me an exercise bar.
They tell me I'm not doing enough.
Not leaning on the Lord enough.
They judge from afar.
They say "You hurt people"
They say this from afar ...
They might as well, hit me with a very heavy bar!
Put up, Put up your guard. Ignorant and intolerant people are all around.
Not trying to justify sin. Or natural imperfections ...
Just saying, those that offer help, provide only pain ...
You wanna help? You wanna do what the Lord wants you to do? Put your nose in the word,
Pray in righteousness so the Lord will hear you ...

This poem is fuelled by a little anger and depression. However it is what I believe everyone including myself needs to do if one is to grow and be a help to others in the Christian Church
