Your impatient:
Life is going no where,
So you sit and stare in disbelief.
Your impatience becomes a thief
Of your mind.
You wonder if you should be doing something more?
So you go out. You decide you needed to get out.
Have some fun. Maybe meet that special someone.
But they aren't saved. You take it on yourself to make them see your ways ...
And soon these days, you found yourself turning away from God.
Seeking happiness - you compromise. You turn in what you know to be right.
Eventually your drifting right away ...
And one day you realize your life is a big mess ...
Still you refuse to confess ...
You look just like the world.
Authors Notes:
This poem is what I learned from chatting with people online for six years. Not all poems are about me, even if I use the word "I". Not all poems that I use the word "You" are about you ... It could be about me.
